Allison Bush- Allison is a native of Northern Kentucky who has recently relocated to Kettering, OH. She received her B.S. in Plant and Soil Science: Horticulture from the University of Kentucky and her M.S. in Natural Resources from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. She has over 13 years of experience within the Green Industry and is an accomplished landscape designer who enjoys creating comprehensive plans for both residential and commercial clients. She is an ISA Certified Arborist and member of the local urban tree commission. In her free time, she is an advocate for all activities outdoors, enjoys volunteering with local non-profit organizations, and spending time with her family. John Chmiel– Design, construction, project management and consultation are all specialties of this Michigan State graduate. His twenty-eight years in the field, extensive travels, as well as a degree in Landscape Architecture give him a unique blend of innovative concepts and cutting edge construction techniques. His specialties in estate planning and landscape renovation have presented him the opportunities to work on projects designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, and Robert A.M.Stern. He is also involved in the Dayton Home Builder’s Association and their various events.
Tom Federle- Tom has designed several City Beautiful award-winning residential landscapes. One of his specialties is water features; from small patio water gardens to large entrance features for housing developments. He is a 1965 graduate of Ohio State University. His renovated 111-year old Victorian home and gardens were on the 2002 Wegerzyn Garden Tour. Tom is a regular speaker at local conferences and garden clubs.
Jason Gebhart- Jason is a native of Enon, Ohio where he has lived his entire life. He has over 15 years of experience working in the green industry. Jason is experienced with landscaping, hardscaping, water features, and specializes in outdoor lighting. He graduated with honors from Clark State where he majored in horticulture with a specialty in landscape design. He enjoys the process of taking a concept on paper and transforming it into a finished project that clients will enjoy for years to come. Kevin Heller- Kevin currently resides in the historic South Park District of Dayton, Ohio. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University, and was recognized with a certificate of merit in the study of Landscape Architecture. His professional experience includes two years as a project assistant in the Chicago suburb of Naperville and seven years as the Lead Designer for a Design / Build company in Lafayette Indiana. The scale and scope of his design work has varied from small and intimate gardens to large commercial and residential development master planning. He enjoys the personalized interaction with clients thus providing a concept that makes each landscape and hardscape design unique to every individual and their space.
Janice Mittelkamp- Janice’s undergraduate degree in Environmental Design and her master’s degree in Landscape Architecture are from Ball State University. She received her professional license in 1994 while working here at Siebenthaler, making her officially a Landscape Architect. She has been involved in a wide variety of projects in the Miami Valley from small residential gardens to large commercial buildings. Her career interests have changed over the years from accessible designs to restoring historic gardens. Currently she in incorporating more pollinator plants into her sustainable designs. When she’s not being creative with plants, she is working with fabric and royal icing. Joe Parrett- Customer Service Representative- Joe started as a greens keeping assistant at Community Golf Course for five seasons while studying at Wright State University with one year studying design at the Dayton Art Institute. He then became Director of Grounds of Friendship Village for 20+ years. The highlight of his summer in 1997 was joining The Siebenthaler Company as a part time sales associate of nursery stock at the old north store. Alex Smith- Alexander was born and raised in Seattle, Washington and currently resides in Madisonville, Ohio. He received his B.A. in Landscape Architecture at UCLA, and won numerous design awards from ASLA. Recently, he designed the I-75 NB entrance ramp landscape for the City of Moraine’s 50th anniversary. He designs everything from modest residential landscapes to multi-acre commercial projects. He loves to design spaces that meld into nature incorporating native species where possible. In listening to the clients’ wishes and using his knowledge of horticulture and hardscape, Alexander creates a lasting landscape design that will be enjoyed year round.In his free time he can be found enjoying the outdoors, hiking and biking while spending time with his daughter. Todd Wimer- A Kettering native, Todd spent 14 years as a graphic lead designer in the advertising world in Chicago with over 300 successful product launches. Fed up with Chicago life and commutes, Todd and his family moved back to Kettering and is currently in charge of drafting and graphics for Siebenthaler’s Landscape design team. Robert Siebenthaler- Robert is a ISA Certified Arborist as well as a graduate of Miami University in Business Administration. Robert is currently the President of the company and landscape sales manager. Robert started with the company at 6 years old and has worked in all facets of the business and enjoyed all of them. Robert serves on numerous community boards and functions and lives in Beavercreek with his wife Britton and two children. Andy Jones- Andy attended Sinclair Community College and The Ohio State University in architecture and horticulture, respectively. He is currently the Maintenance Operations Manager. Len Willenbrink- Len shoots at and misses deer. when he is not missing deer, he is busy not writing his company bio.
