How to turn an office chair into a masterpiece in a garden gazebo

The shape of an Ergo Chair has a beautifully perfect silhouette. This classic design features a metal base on wheels and a rounded back.

Have you ever tried painting office furniture before? Do you think this idea is too bold and daring? Try it – and you won’t regret it!

First step

To start working on the implementation of modern art ideas, you need to remove the seat from the support by unscrewing a few screws on the back and along the base.

For the base, you need to use a golden aerosol color scheme. Nearly all of these spray cans are used outdoors. In addition, they have an anti-corrosion effect.

To protect the wheels, they must be covered with masking tape, as a result they will remain black. Now you can get to work.

Second step

The rest of the chair is also dismantled, and then use three layers of vinyl paint to cover the entire surface of the back with it. You can find this simple and uncomplicated material at any automotive store.

Since the color has a strong smell, it is better to perform the procedure in a well-ventilated area or in the air.

After several layers snow-white paint is applied to the chair, it will be completely ready. Before putting it back indoors, let it dry for half a day, otherwise the smell will linger in the apartment for a long time! You can start using the chair within a few days of painting.
